How FamQuest stores and protects your family's data
FamQuest is a family management app that turns chores into rewarding missions. We take your family's privacy seriously and only collect what we need to make the app work. This policy explains what we store, how it's protected, and the choices you have.

What we collect
To run FamQuest, we store the information you enter: your family members' first names, emoji avatars, theme colours, tasks, rewards, competitions, and star totals. We also store your account email address so you can log in.
How we store it
Your data is stored securely in the FamQuest database, hosted on the Base44 platform. All data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Only you and the people you invite to your account can access your family's information.
Who can see it
Your family data is private to your account. We do not sell, share, or trade your personal information or your family's data with third parties for marketing. Your data is never used to train external AI models.
Payments
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, a certified payment provider. FamQuest never sees or stores your full card number — Stripe handles all payment details securely. We only record whether your subscription is active so we can unlock the app.
Children's data
FamQuest is designed for families to use together. Family member profiles are created and managed by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Profile data (first name and emoji) is kept minimal and is visible only within your account.
Your choices
You can edit or delete any family member, task, or reward at any time from within the app. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Subscribe page. To request full deletion of your account and data, contact our customer care manager.
